I think for the video card there will be no problem. First did a test with the LiveCD or DVD. I think it may be on the processor. Whose version download 64bit. Then if everything goes live, goes application, system tools , Sysinfo and select various menus in the left column and you will see the hardware recognition. |

Desktop Asus P6T x58 Motherboard with Intel Quad Processor 920-12 ram go ( is how it will serve 12 go ram Finally ) and it has no problem of recognition. In addition, it has conducted a variety of benchmark and overclocking test. Besides the brand ASRock uses Linux as operating system to test their motherboards at overclocking performance ... I think it's Fedora. I was also put together a system with X58 Asus sata usb 3 and 6 Processor Quad 860 (I look forward compatibility) at 3 and SATA 6 USB although I do not think that Linux is ready kernel-level but it will probably in the next version. Dell: What scares me is always the quality of board. For the rest of the components, I 'm not worried. |

| Re: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (for mobile)
I have regularly see some manufacturers to engage in a bit foolish attempts of installing a desktop processor in a laptop. Obviously , this approach has limits, even if only because of the unalterable relationship between frequency and consumption : when you put a Core i7 Bloomfield TDP of 130W in a notebook , do not expect large Little in terms of autonomy . It's a bit like trying to put a V8 in a Prius, it has no interest, except for a handful of madmen who need both mobility and type of power. |

However , the purpose of this article is the Clarksfield , a set of processors targeting the upscale market and intended to replace the current Core 2 Extreme QX9300 and Core 2 Quad Q9100/Q9000 mobile . The Clarksfield currently owns two different thermal envelopes : 45W for standard models ( ie exactly the same as the Core 2 above ) and 55 W models Extreme Edition mobile . |

| Re: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (for mobile)
Intel no longer designates its mobile platform known as Centrino , preferring to reserve that name for its wireless channels . As for desktop processors , the chipmaker plans to use the Core brand i3 , i5 Core and Core i7 to represent its products for entry, mid and high end ( respectively ) . We are not exactly without this approach : after all, we were roundly criticized for Nvidia used a technique similar to its famous graphics cards . |

| Re: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (for mobile)
The consumption of new models is relatively homogeneous: the Core i7 Mobile midrange ( and 720QM 820QM ) have a TDP of 45W , like the Core 2 Quad mobile which they take place, while the Core i7 920XM appears at 55 W. It is therefore far from the 130 W required by the Core i7 920 that we have seen in some mobile workstation . |

I expect Core i7 Mobile they exhibit similar performance to that of Lynnfield in tests Threading . In fact, they should be even higher than those in iTunes and WinZip , two applications optimized for a single thread , since the Turbo Boost Core i7 920XM offers 9 levels of acceleration and can raise the CPU frequency up to 3.2 GHz with a single working heart . With two cores activated , the frequency reverts to 3.06 GHz and 2.26 GHz when 4 cores are working . |

| Re: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (for mobile)
The Core i7 820QM , clocked at 1.73 GHz core , up to 3.06 GHz applications using a single thread , the Core i7 can 720QM about to fall from 1.6 to 2.8 GHz. Three processors are equipped with Hyper-Threading but only the two larger have 8MB of L3 cache: Core i7 720QM MB has only six cores. |
