Phenom2x2 555be is actually phenom 2x4 955be with 2 cores disabled .yes a deneb core architecture. Any am3 mbo featuring sb710 would unlock it (though u would not see the name 955 but some thing b55) to quad core without any stability issue and also give nearly same performance as phenom 2x4 955 in many task . So over all i would suggest asus m4a77td if u live on discreet graphic card also it has ddr3 ram and is really cheap nearly around 3k. For crossfire go for jetway ha07(ddr2, solid caps, gud onboard gpu) around 5k
