E2180 or 5000+ black for Overclocking

This is first time i am going to overclock my pc and i am looking forward to spend as little as possible and get the maximum performance out of it. I do not play much games, But i do lot of surfing on an internet. What i need is only a Tower. After doing much search, I have narrowed down to an Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz E 2180 - 800 FSB/1MBCache & Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (Black Edition) and all the other things i have decided as follows.
    • Transcend 2 Gb DDR2 800 Rs 2000
    • ATX cabinet with SMPS 450w Rs 2000
    • 250Gb SATA HDD Rs 2000
    • +/- DVD RW Rs 1400

can you guys help me to decide as with which i should go here?

If you are looking for a overclocking then i guess an Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz E 2180 - 800 FSB/1MBCache would better for you as it is overclocking friendly. And if you are checking a value for money then an I would be suggesting for an AMD + 780g chipset which is good. Now you should decide that what are you up to as OC or a VFM?

Actually i want to cut down the prices and i guess it is going above my budget as i have seen that an AMD 5000+ and Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H would be costing me around Rs. 9000 which is much above then my budget. Is there any other way to make it with couple of grands lesser then that? IS no then what other way i can do that, I mean some other hardware which can fit into my budget.

If you are not in budget then i guess you should go with an Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz E 2180 - 800 FSB/1MBCache only which will cost you some around Rs 3000 so it comes between your budget as well. So you have to compromise with either this or that. Everything does comes along with the single thing. either you have to increase your budget or you need to compromise your needs.

If you are getting an AMD combo along with the HDMI, DirectX 10, good IGP, eSATA port etc. then i guess it would be better for you as you wont be need to upgrade the specifications of your computer system until next 3 years which is a considerable thing. And if you go for cheaper things then it is but obvious that you have to upgrade your pc sooner, Though it is not necessary as it depends on your needs.
