Computer Cabinet query

Sponsored Links
Q1. My asus m4a78td-v evo fills my cabinet completely.
That means, my mobo fits perfectly in the chassis leaving almost no space up or down.
So is my cabinet mid-atx or mini-atx?
Q2. Is this compact fitting of mobo in a case safe?
Q3. I didnt have proper studs(copper mobo lifters), so further most (1 one near the front) side of the mobo was NOT screwed to the chassis.
So i stacked it up with help of a pile of newspaper (making sure the arse of motherboard was not touching the chassis).
Now, (if you understand what i am tryna explain) IS THIS SAFE???
Q4. I got way too excited with the thermal paste & smeared twice the quantity required over the cpu. I kno that its very bad for heat dissapiation.
But would it be really worth the pain to remove heatsink to clean it (i am lazy).
The heatsink is very, very tightly fixed & considering problem no 3, i dont think i can put too much pressure on it.
So finally, it that safe??
Thank u..

Dont you know which cabinet you have with you, atleast by giving the cabinet's specific model name/number or even by uploading a pic, you would have gotten your ans for your first querry. If you say that you can only install your mobo, then it might be mini-atx case, we can only presume that
Also, consider yourself getting a good computer case, atleast to mid-atx incase if you live in a hot and humid region like India, so that the air passes in and out without giving you too much of overheating problems, just a thought.
