The H55/H57 will run through Lynnfield i7/i5's, however they are truly destined for dual core i5/i3's (Clarkdale), as they be able to use their own chip GPU.

Are you purchasing an i5 750 or clarkdale i5? If you are purchasing the Quad core, obtain a P55 as there is no anything good regarding the H55/H57.

I will vote once I recognize that kind of i5 you have.

As far as I identify, just P55 will do SLI if you’re preparation to do SLI. I don't believe H55/57 will do SLI (Not sure) and also if it does, it will do 4x/4x and you will observe a bottleneck so do not worry.

So P55 at this time, and IGP is valueless anyway if you’re forecasting to stick a video card in anyway.

The Core i5 750 at present put up for sale for $200 and at that cost we think about it to be the number one preference amongst quad-core processors. Helping to stay the in general price of the LGA1156 platform down is the Intel P55 chip, that is significantly additional reasonably priced than the X58 chipset used through the original Core i7 family.

This week’s release of the Intel P55 Express chipset and LGA-1156 CPUs is a latest example shift in the way mainstream systems are build. While Intel has reserved older CPU Sockets in manufacture while new ones have been released (LGA-1366 LGA-775, LGA-775 Socket 478) for a inadequate time, they have forever released mainstream edition of the chipset in due course.

The EVGA H57 and H55 motherboards are developed on the reward winning EVGA P55 motherboards… When coupled through a supported CPU, the EVGA H57/H55 motherboard turns out to be a good quality media platform through HDMI, DVI, VGA or DisplayPort. Furthermore, through Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, Intel® Smart Cache, Intel® Hyper-Threading, and super fast DDR3 memory support.

The H55 chipset technically has not been formally reveal however everybody knows it's coming. Targeted at the conventional consumer, the H55 chipset can be well thought-out the additional value-orientated edition of the P55 chipset. Supporting Socket 1156 and the novel Core i5, H55 boards will be opposing for your dollars in opposition to the likes of AMD's 785G line.
