    GA-X58A-UD3R Ram issue with win7 64 bit

    I need some help and information regarding the RAM in the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. My desktop has the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard. My system has the 6GB of RAM installed. But only the 4GB RAM memory is usable. So what can be the possible reason for getting this issue. Help me out in resolving this issue.

    I think one of the RAM you have attached on the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard of your desktop computer system is not fixed properly in the RAM slot. As the result the system is showing only 4GB of the usable RAM memory. So i will recommend you to reconnect the RAM on the motherboard slot properly. This will fix the RAM issue related to the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard of your desktop computer system..

    First of all i would like to know that what is the RAM memory combination you have placed on the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard of your desktop computer system. Are you using the 3*2GB RAM sticks or 2*3GB RAM memory sticks. So first provide me this very useful information over here. This will help a lot in resolving this issue.

    Hi friends, I am using the three RAM sticks of the 2GB memory placed in the three RAM slots of the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard. But the system is only detecting 4GB of the RAM on the motherboard. That is why i am here to get some help regarding the RAM issue which i am facing with this desktop computer system. I have tried all the possible combination on the motherboard.

    It may be possible that the RAM slot on the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard of the desktop is not working. Because of which one of the RAM stick is not detected by the Windows 7 operating system installed in your operating system. So i will advise you to contact the Gigabyte for this RAM issue. Because i think the motherboard is still in the warranty period.
