Thread: system boots up but my display does not work

    question system boots up but my display does not work

    i have an intel motherboard dg31pr with e5200 core 2 duo with nvidia 7200gs graphics card.......
    my problem is that i recently changed my case and moniter after that my system boots up but my display doesnot work..........
    place tell me what is the problem................i cant even see d bios screen.........
    plz help me.........

    are u sure it boots up?

    do get a "beep" sound, and can u see the CPU fan running?

    if u can only see the fan running, and no beep sound, then its different problem
    but you need to give little more details. Wat exactly did u do after changing your cabinet?

    i am not being system specific but 7200gs since its a graphic card

    connect the moniter to the onboard display and change the display option to the add-on card from the BIOS it should work

    well i just took out the whole setup and put it in the new cabinet.now the cpu fan runs.but there is no beep sound and no display.......
    neither from the graphics card nor from the onboard vga........

    what is the prob?

    okay, do one thing....there is a CMOS battery on the mobo...just remove it and after 1 minute, insert it again. Then u shud be able to boot



    try this....and if it still doesnt work, tell us
