fan makes noise

Ever since i have replaced my 915 board with 945, my computer has become noisy, i.e. fan s usage is not optimized, it remains always on.
Pls give me a solution for this problem

The problem could be resolved by adding or applying a thermal paste on the heat sink of the system. This should make the fan to stable out and may not then make any noise.
