How to know which graphic card supports my motherboard?

    Hi,
I have Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHZ motherboard (x86 family 15 model 4 stepping 9) and I'd like to know whether the ASUS Radeon HD 4670 1GB or eVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512 MB graphic cards support my motherboard.

    Thanks.

If you want to know about graphic card compatibility, you need to check what slot type it is. If you have a newer computer, odds are you have PCI-e. Make sure the card is a pci-e card. If your computer is old (like 4 or 5 years) then you might have AGP, the memory of the card doesn't matter. They are compatible have you installed the Graphics card in the slot nearest the CPU as thats the right one. You need to push the little clip at the end of the socket on the motherboard for it to go in easier. And make sure that the back end (DVI sockets) of the graphics card goes through the back of the case properly.

To know which graphic card support your motherboard you need to check out your manual of mothrboard. If you are having only pci connection then you need to use the PCI card for your motherboard. If you are having AGP slot on your motherboard then you must need to use the AGP card for your motherboard. So, it all depends on your motherboard slot, so just check your slot of motherboard.
