    Hello Everybody,

    With a request from our fellow members,we have started a new concept,innovative one but eaqually Fun Filled.

    Here is what it is,
    You post your System configuration.
    Here are the Components that will be considered for Rating,

    1] CPU[Make,Speed,FSB]
    2]Motherboard[Make,Features,Specifications]
    3]Ram[Make,Speed,Size]
    4]Hard Disks [Make,Speed,Buffer]
    5]Optical Drives [Make,Speed]
    6]Graphics Card [Along with Brand,GPU+Ram Clock Speeds]
    7]System Performance boosting devices like RAID Cards,Etc.[Make,Specifications,Features]
    8]SMPS[Make,Specifications,Features]


    After that each member's System will be rated by Me,my fellow members and some guys from the managememnt team.

    Please do contribute guys,it will be fun.

    Also if you have overclocked,modded..... your system please post the pics as a proof.Who knows it might earn you some extra points.

    It should be noted that this is allowed only for TechArena Members.
    TechArena Management CANNOT post their Systems here.

    So start posting everybody.Let the competition begin.Let the best of all come on the Top.

    Rate my Rig ft2:

    ROCK RIG #1

    CPU: INTEL P4 @ 3110 mhz ( I have already posted the proofs )

    MB: ASUS P4PE X/TE i845 chipset (Very good, can beat upcoming nforce3 too )

    RAM: HYNIX 256MB DDR333@363 mhz (OC'ed; RAM timing -> 2T-2T-2T-5T)

    HDD: -SAMSUNG 120GB @ 7200 RPM (OC'ed to SCSI 10,000 RPM, lolz)
    -SAMSUNG 40GB @ 5200 RPM
    -SAMSUNG 8.4GB @ 5200 RPM

    GPU: ASUS v9950 5900FX ULTRA 128MB (No need to OC! anyways gimme the extra points)

    Sound System: Creative SB Live! DE 5.1; Creative Inspire 5200 5.1 spkrs

    PSU: ANTEC 450W

    Optical Drives: ASUS 48X CDRW; SONY 16x DVD DDU16

    NIC: CIS/WISECOM 8139/8139A PCI Ethernet Card

    MODS: -Attached fan to the top of the cabinet (proof -> )
    -Made the IDE cable from ribbon -> rounded (Big Deal!)
    -Nitro-Booster attached to CPU, just in case
    -Sidewalls cut to form 'windows' in the PSU
    -made the cross-overs myself

    MISC: Check the sig for that..

    OS: Win98SE; Winxp (SP2 beta build 2055); Win2k (build 2195); FreeBSD 5; Slackware 9.1; Lindows v4.5 (in about 9 hrs) (metioned just like that)

    (R.I.P now since I ripped all the HDDs, but still qualifies for this comptt.)

    Runs in diskless mode (Linux - console only/smoothwall + FreeBSD under experimentation)


    1]CPU: INTEL P3 733 mhz @ 900 mhz

    2]Motherboard: INTEL 810e (awesome board, very rare )

    3]Ram: SDRAM 256MB PC133 (RAM timings teaked; exact values unknown)

    4]Hard Disks: I said naa "Diskless" implementation (will use it for a router/server)

    5]Optical Drives: ASUS 52X CDROM

    6]Graphics Card: Onboard 4 mb (Radeon 9800XT beaten in DOOM3 benchie)

    7]Huh? what else System performance boost does my PC require? Its running a stripped version of Linux... don't ask silly question!

    8]NIC: RealTek NIC 10 MBPS

    9]SMPS: 250W INTEX

    10]SC: Onboard AC'97 ( 9.1 surround sound )

    11]MODS: No just polished the cabinet to make it shine more
    -My case has a exhaust fan too at the side.. extra points for this pls

    Hope it comes 2-3 in the IInd category
