    Intel Pentium E5200 or E5300 - Which is better processor?

    I want to buy the computer system for myself. Most probably i will prefer the assembled/customized computer for myself. But the problem is that i am confused between the Intel Pentium E5200 and Intel Pentium E5300 processor. I want to know the better processors from this two. So that i can buy the computer system for me as soon as possible.

    You want to make the assembled computer for yourself. for this you have selected two processors for making your computer system. You have selected the Intel Pentium E5200 and the E5300 processor but you are confused in selecting one from these two processor. You want to know which processor will be better for you. Well this decision is totally depends on your work and needs. Both these processors are the dual core processors, as you know. But the basic difference is that the E5300 is little faster as compare to the E5200 processor.

    Re: Intel Pentium E5200 or E5300 - Which is better processor?

    I will suggest you to go for the Intel Pentium E5300 dual core processor because this is faster than the Intel Pentium E5200. This will give you the performance better than the Intel Pentium dual core E5200. The Intel Pentium E5300 dual core processor supports more features as compare to the E5200 processor. You can easily overclock the Intel Pentium E5300 processor as compare to the E5200 processor. I will not recommend you for the E5200 dual core processor.

    Re: Intel Pentium E5200 or E5300 - Which is better processor?

    I will not suggest you to buy any of these two processors because these two are the Dual core processors and they are older in market now. Now the Intel Core 2 Duo and the Intel quad core , i5 , i7 processors are available in the market. They are faster and the very good processors as compare to the Dual core processors. If i would be in your place. i will not buy the Dual Core processor. I will choose the the Core 2 Duo or the Quad core processor for my computer system.

    I would like to suggest use AM3 line of Processors.
    Try
    1. AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 GHz instead of Intel Pentinum Dual Core E5200/E5300

    2. AMD Phenom II X2 550 BE 3.1 GHz instead of Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz

    Currently issue with Intel Platform (i5, i7) is backward compatibility with existing 775 Socket
    M/C: Q6600 G0 (267*6=1.6GHz @ 1.1625); MSI P35 Platinum Combo, 3GB DDR2 800 [5-5-5-15]; WD 320GB;
