Asus p6t vs p6t deluxe Motherboard

ASUS P6T vs ASUS P6T Deluxe which one is best. What are the specifiaction and features of this motherboard. I got 3x2gb Corsair XMS DDR3 1333 ram and hd 4870 graphics card. I'm having trouble understanding the differences between the ASUS P6T vs ASUS P6T Deluxe versions. Any help/suggestions/opinions would be fabulous.

There honestly isn't a huge difference between the P6T and P6T Deluxe. Only get the Revolution if you need the 6 pci-e slots. Thanks to its integrated triple-channel DDR3 memory controller, HyperTransport-like Quick Path Interconnect, an 8MB L3 cache, and quad processing cores, Intel’s Core i7 CPU is universally regarded as the world’s fastest processor.Differences between the boards :Asus P6T-Replaced 2 SAS ports with regular SATA ports, total 8 SATA ports. Asus P6T Deluxe has 2 SAS ports and 6 SATA ports.

Overall the Asus P6 is a feature filled motherboard which ran incredibly fast with Intel's latest processors and overclocked to astoundingly to nearly 4GHz stable. P6T can support a maximum of 12GB of RAM, has JMicron PATA, SATA, and eSATA chips, and a single Realtek Gigabit LAN. Audio is via a Realtek ALC1200. Again you do lose a few features but not many. The Asus P6T comes highly recommended for someone looking for a great X58 board with SLI and Crossfire support.

The P6T Deluxe OC Edition is the top model in the P6 series from Asus.ASUS will offer an uber high-end 3-way SLI compatible Asus X58 Rampage II Extreme and also a 2-way SLI ready X58 based mainboard that will still be very expensive yet slightly more affordable, known as the P6T Deluxe. It offered a value priced motherboard with a good selection of features and stability.

Asus P6T Deluxe OC Palm: Same as P6T Deluxe but comes with this screen module. Asus P6T Deluxe V2- only 6 SATA ports and no SAS ports. However, currently the P6T seems like a popular choice for early adopters, despite its high price, but that's not unusual from X58 boards in general it seems.

Re: Asus p6t vs p6t deluxe Motherboard

Asus P6T Deluxe has Two Molex and SATA to SAS+Power adapters, Asus Q-Shield,SLI bridge. While the P6T is ASUS’ entry level X58 offering, it’s by no means what you’d expect from an entry-level motherboard. There are some significant memory and south bridge differences. There are also some minor slot difference, look close.
