    Using x32xx processors with g965

    Hello!

Does anybody have experience using x32xx processors with G965 Intel motherboard?
I have DG965PZ motherboard and officially maximum supported processor is E6700.
If I have any chance to use any other unsupported processor?

    Best regards...

DG965PZ motherboard is not supported E6700. E6700 is a Quad-Core Support processor and DG965PZ is not support quad core. I suggest you to just bring any supported motherboard like Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (Rev 2.0). That is good motherboard initially.

    Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately I have bought 1u chassis with DG965PZ picoBTX motherboard. In product description was written support of 32xx processors (quad core). Now I check possibility to use similar performance benchmark processor or replace available motherboard with any other. But you understand how problematic to find today modern picoBTX motherboard.

    Thank you.

    P.S Do you mean Q6700 or QX6700? E6700 contains 2 core http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_C...roarchitecture)
