RAM- 2*2 GB Transcend DDR3
HDD- Western Digital SATA 2 500GB (32 MB Buffer)

Go for MSI 790GX-G65 (price RS 6800 approx).
Or u can go for ASUS M4A78T-E (price Rs 8600 approx). Both support DDR3.

Re: which motherboard suits my system?

Thanks. I was thinking Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-US2H though. I wont be going for Asus. Had a bad history with it. Between MSI and Gigabyte, which would be better? My needs are light gaming, HD movies. No overclocking.

Re: which motherboard suits my system?

no doubt MSI will be a smart choice coz it's using 790GX chipset which is better than 785G. It also supports processor up to 140 watt. so it will be future proof as well. 790GX is using ATI HD 3300 chip (IGP) which is more powerful than HD 4200 (785g). 3300 also supports HD video. For light gaming there is no need for XFX 9600 GT. HD 3300 will be sufficient for every thing ( it can even run Crysis). U can save the money for time being and use it later to buy a more powerful graphics card like HD 4850. Things are changing very fast and applications are getting more and more graphics hungry. Soon and u will realize that 9600 GT is of no use.
