Asus Asus ddr2/ddr3 motherboard

Hello,
I want to go for a good and cheap motherboard which supports both DDR2 and DDR3 Ram Mem's.. Please suggest me some good and low-costing Asus or Foxconn boards (Gigabyte would also do). It should also be good for overclocking..

I was earlier thinking of buying asus p5kpl-am/ps or p5qpl-am..

I would recommend you to go for Asus boards as other boards have 2 memory slots while asus generally has 4 memory slots... [DIMM Slots]. Hope this works...

All AM3 motherboards use DDR3 memory. All motherboards with AM(anything but 3) in the socket support use DDR2. There are electrical differences between two DDR technologies and even though both DDR2 and DDR3 DIMMs have 240-pins the DIMMs are physically keyed to prevent you from being able to do this. 790GX-8D seems a bit more versatile, compatible with AMD's AM3 processors with DDR2-1066 or DDR3-1333 RAM (using bypass) while also capable of supporting the AM2+ CPU with DDR2 RAM.

thx 4 replies... i have an pentium d 820 cpu and wanna overclock it upto 3.20 ghz... currently my board dosen't support overclocking .. so i wanted to know :
is asus p5kpl-am/ps or pkqpl-am ? which is good for overclocking from these one?
