LG DVD Writer Stops At 1 % Writing

I Bought LG HL-DT-ST-DVD-RAM GH22NP20
DVD Writer 2 months back while writing it stopped at 1% and its taking more time but it satnds at the same place , i wasted 5 dvd's and 2 cd's , i reinstalled XP , Nero 7.0 , Nero 8.0 but the problem remains same , i cannot figure out the problem.
plz guide what to do ???

This can be due to 2 things, first the power supply isn't enough and DVD-RW receiving Power Calibration error, Try to change the power cable of the DVD-RW, if that doesn't help try changing the power supply, the DVD-RW is bad. If its still under warranty, you can get it replaced. Hope this helps...

change ower cable or sata data cable. i also faced same problem....and i made change in cable and i succeesssed.
