Problem with Asus P5NT Deluxe + Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5D

Hello everyone, I have a small problem. I have a PC with a P5NT Deluxe, processor Intel Q6600 G0, RAM TwinX Corsair 2x2048-8500C5D, NVIDIA SLI 2x XFX 8800 GTX XXX.

Now, with the premise that the bios are not very capable (I'm just entering the world of voltages, etc.) I can not pick up the frequency of the ram to 1066 MHz and after a while Win XP crashed and I have to reboot with the same results as before. Do I have to make the ram and the fsb to 800 and the proc at 266 MHz (the processor is at 2400 Mhz accordingly ie dafault!).

I tried to set the bios to auto and OC the system with the OS. Asus AI Booster, but also bringing about 5% to me after a while crashes (20% the system does not either!).

The version of my bios is the latest, but I do not know if that's the problem or what.

Can someone would tell me know how to do the settings to get this little computer working?

I do not understand one thing: 1066MHz on the RAM. You get there directly by varying the frequency of the ram or climbing with the FSB because you do not have the entry in 1066?

I arrived there, at 1066, by manually setting the value ie leave the FSB to 1066 and increase the freq. ram from 800 to 1066, or by changing the CPU ratio from the pulldown menu and set the 1:1 ratio (the latter but not the PC).

After some attempts I always hangs it to load the desktop that lasts 5-10 sec. I have tried to put all the values of the standard BIOS but nothing is now hanging so well and I can do to stay on only mod.

That is to try to remove and replace the ram or is that Windows XP is giving me some problems?

Ok ... then try the first case: let set the fsb to 1066 and climb only with the ram freq from 800 to 1066MHz.

Manually set the Memory Voltage entry (you'll find it on auto), set it to 2.10 volts.

For now leaves all the time on auto, save and try running... see what happens

Ok now I feel as you say .. first because you always lock and load a profile I had saved on nvidia tune where I changed the cpu fsb to 333 Mhz ..

For the change that you told me, I changed the setting from leaving all the time on auto in unlinked fsb to 1066 and bringing the freq. Ram 1066 (so traveling WOULD BE 1:1 ?)

For the moment is giving me problems with blocks or other ... How can I post the facades of cpu-z so that you can see if there is something wrong?
