looking for new ram my friends suggested me to co for OCZ which will be better than corsair so i got this OCZ Platinum DDR3-1866 MHz 4GB kit from my computer guy is that good kit to have ?

Price difference between DDR3 and DDR2 memory will completely disappear. Overall this year we have small increase in the DDR3 prices due to shortages of chips.These deficits are gradually eliminated and therefore prices will come down. but for now prize with OCZ Platinum DDR3 4GB ram look worth and performance is best

The standard speeds of 1866 MHz can soon put aside and speeds of more than 2 GHz can be reach. The final rang can be reach up to almost 2300 MHz! but that is not stable enough to run SuperPi and I had the speed something back to this clock to complete successfully. The memory overclocked 2240 MHz and still put down a perfect score!
