    Problem with Asus p6t

    Hello,

    I have problem configuring ASUS P6T with Intel i7 920. here is my configuration
    • Intel Core i7 920
    • ASUS P6T - LGA1366 Socket - Intel X58 + ICH10R
    • DDR3 Memory 2GB (2 * 1GB)
    • Radeon HD 4870 - 1 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 2.0
    • Blue Storm 2 500W v2.2


    I have connected everything correctly but not beep at startup, I really do not know what to do please help me.

    Check if your processor power cables are plugged in 8-pin. Then, only one connect 1gb Ram, Finally, check that there is indeed a topper comes with the motherboard! Because to me that ASUS did it with my Maximus Extreme: no topper delivered. If its not there then go to any computer dealer he will give you one. also your power supply seems to be week change it to good 700W power supply.

    I just read doc on net stating that the motherboard Asus p6t is not compatible with my RAM. so this is causing the problem and as far as power supply is concerned i am going to buy a 700w power supply, can you recommend me a good power supply brand.
