What is a normal temperature for Phenom II 955

Recently i had bought a new Phenom II 955 processor for my pc. Now the problem is that it always run between 101ºF and 106ºF. I would like to know that what is a normal temperature for Phenom II 955? Or up to what extend the temperature should be? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct solution for the above issue. Any kind of help on the above issue would be appreciated.

The CPU typically read temps idle at 12-13 degrees. The only thing that matters is your load temperature (all 4 cores @ 100%). Anything under 70'C is officially within specification for that CPU.

Any core temp is just loaded with inconsistencies. If you're worried about frying something, the CPU's thermal trip (automatic system shutdown) occurs around 90'C, which would indicate an overheating concern and potentially faulty CPU. The whole thing is based on a little unpublished number called "Tj max," which can even vary from chip to chip in a given processor.

According to my best of knowledge it means 38 - 41 Fahrenheit, that's perfectly acceptable. Anything running upto 41c is fine for idle. You just need to keep your j load temperature under 61c.
