Hi, this is a noob question. Infact I don't know much about hardware.
What a mother board does? I mean if I buy a highend processor then is it neded that mother board should be highend?

highend processor required highend motherboard mainly that is identified by using socket that available on motherboard so while buying you can see all information on box currently see for core i7

Not necessary.

As pentium dual core to core 2 quad processor is lga 775 socketed(package type) the lga 775 socketed motherboard is not so costly.

In other hand lga 1336 socketed motherboard(Intel core i7 socket/package type) is pretty costly and so called high end.
