Re: pentium dual core vs Celeron dual core

The Celeron brand is a range of x86 CPUs from Intel targeted at budget personal computers.ntel launched the new dual core Celeron E1200 processor on January 20, 2008, based on the Allendale core.he CPU has 800 MT/s FSB, 65 W TDP and uses 512 kb of the chip's 2 MB L2 cache. New features to the Celeron family included full enhanced halt state and enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology.Where pentium dual core is in terms of features good price and performance at a given clock frequency, Pentium Dual-Core processors are positioned above Celeron but below Core and Core 2 microprocessors in Intel's product range.

Re: pentium dual core vs Celeron dual core

Celeron is chipper with compare to dual core but if you going to compare specification with dual core and good celeron you will find no much more difference but normally Celeron dual core is not popular because with some more cost you can get much good alternative with dual core or Amd also

Re: pentium dual core vs Celeron dual core

The much difference you will find in cpu internal clock , L1 Cache and L2 Cache so difference between Celeron and Pentium Dual Core and Core 2 Duo is L2 memory cache. This makes considerable changes in performance always higher cpu internal clock but for that you also have to choose high performance peripherals to work with this cpu.
