    any reason a 125W 9950 wouldn't work here?

I have a motherboard with a CPU(currently a 6400+) that isn't even on the support list of the computer but that's never crashed it. Since my mobo can obviously support 125W processors, and am2+ works in nearly every AM2 mobo, is there any reason this wouldn't work? By the way, I'm not stating my motherboard because most of you would just say WTFUPGRADE. It's not old, it works great, it's reliable, I shorted something at least 5 times on it and it never did anything. http://www.motherboardpro.com/images/D/K9NBPM2-FID.jpg if you want to look at it for some reason.

May be the motherboard is not supporting your processor as you already mentioned that the processor isn't on the motherboard's compatibility list. Why you want to take risk, either parts could be damaged...

I won't think it's an good idea to use your 125W as you are saying that it's working fine for the time being but sometime or either it would burnt out your motherboard or processor, me asking is not to use it, but if you want to take any risk then you can take it.

I'm sure 2 years of overclocking and no crashes related to the CPU means that it's going to kill me.
