At a frequency of 2.6 GHz (260 MHz bus for a multiplier set to 10x), the Sempron has exceeded even the most powerful 3800 + 939, especially while compression and rendering where Most cache that comes into play the power of brute CPU. and capable of reaching high frequencies with a voltage of only 1.5 v.
The sempron is not better than the athlon in P-Rating equivalent (eg a Sempron 3000 + 64bits VS athlon 3000 + 64 bits, the athlon is better but more expensive) .As against it is true that the Sempron 3400 + 64Bit defends quite well, and I would say that after a certain test, it should take the lead with an Athlon 3000 + 64bit. But since the price of these two CPUs are joined, the best choice is still an Athlon 64 3000 +. But as you already ? know that sempron socket = 754 . This socket has no future so it is better to move to Socket 939
the maximum value you can set tp 9x .If the multiplier is up to you have to get up to 2GHz fsb ...with the good voltage to 2GHz should not undergo significant changes, I think it is enough ..temperatures is not high and a slight increase in voltage should not cause problems ..also can push to 2.3ghz....
