Asus A7V133 support Athlon MP

Hello everybody

I would like to know Does Asus A7V133 support Athlon MP? So that I can go for an hardware upgrade with my computer.If so talk me about in terms of performance?

No chance Only Abit has asserted that the KT7A support it.This is about KT133A boards.I tguess somebody tested a bunch of boards with the MP and quite a few worked, some not so reliably. I wouldn't purchase one anyway. A 1333 overclocked will beat it. Just get AYHJA and be a cool man...maybe AYHJAR if you can get one. Most run 1500+. Which will always match or beat the 1200MP. Well, a few highly optimized sse apps might win

I'm not upgrading to the Palomino, because I'm quite happy with my Spitfire 700 right now. In the future would AMD 761 based mobos support the Thoroughbred, or even the Barton.Well minimum specs are 1.4GHz, although there was nothing to indicate the need for this SSE nor what processors were compatible and which ones weren't.
