    VIA vt82c694x motherboard bios flash

One of my friend has a via vt82c694x motherboard he accidentaly loaded the optimal defaults setting in the bois and saved it and now his monitor is not working at all. He also tried to use another monitor using the dvi slot but it wont work either. So the only options left for him is a Bios Flash. So therefore can anyone tell a way on how to flash bios of VIA vt82c694x motherboard? Thank you

Go to this link to flash bios of VIA vt82c694x motherboard. But first identify the clock generator IC on your motherboard before updating the BIOS. Upgrading with a wrong BIOS file may result in failure to power up after the upgrade !

To obtain a bios for a motherboard you must first identify it (model and maker).

Drivers (chipset) for your legacy board are built into XP, you will be likely looking for an audio driver, again dependent on the model and manufacturer of your board.
