    question What cpu should I buy?

    I have a Intel dp45sg mother board, with 4gb of ddr3 and a .5 Tb hard drive. I'm currently running the Intel core 2cpu @ 1.86ghz I want to update with out braking the bank.

    The best choice will be Intel Core i7, but as you don't want to spend too much money, you can go for Core 2 Quad. If you want to go for more cheaper one then Quad Core would be the best processor...

    What you want to upgrade? Processor? Intel core 2cpu @ 1.86ghz is good enough but if you want to upgrade then it won't be possible to without spending money. See the price list here : Intel Processors & Motherboard pricelist

    Thanks for the suggestions on processors, i looked them up on Newegg, I guess the best thing to do is run what I have and save up.
