Windows 2003/2008 Compatible Processor + Motherboard

I'm planning to assemble a PC which is having Windows 2003/2008 Compatible drivers. I don't need very high end config. because the machine will be primarily used for running MS SQL/Sharepoint for Training purposes & low end development works. The machine will be used like a standalone desktop. The primary need is that it should be compatible with Windows 2003/2008.

The problem with current MBs is that the drivers for Windows 2003/2008 are not bundled or not available for download anywhere. In the olden days, a XP compatible MB always bundled drivers for Win 2000 also. Nowadays, the drivers are mainly available for Vsita/XP/Windows 7 but not for Windows 2003/2008.

So please recommend me a Windows 2003/2008 Compatible Processor + Motherboard within a max. budget of Rs.15,000

Technically Vista and Server 2008 are built on the same OS core the drivers of Vista is compatible with Server 2008. Just look out for RAID support if you want like ASUS P5K Premium board have so make sure your need and select.ddr 3 ram slot motherboard is costly but ddr3 ram is cheap.

I'm mostly worried about the driver support for 2003/2008 than on MB features.

Windows 2003 drivers are provided with the motherboard cd. If it is not then you can use Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Windows 2008 will take drivers from Windows Vista Compatible drivers.
