Hello , When i Check my into Device manager and also in windows xp manager , it shows that My computer is an ACPI x86-based PC. so can you tell me what does it mean by x86 based computer,I have windows Vista 64 bit installed in my computer , please Help me thanks in advance

Definition of ACPI, Advanced Configuration and Power Interface. This is a standard computer that enables the programming of the component of the computer , The ACPI allows control of power management by the operating system. The previous industry standard, Advanced Power Management (APM) is controlled in the BIOS. The APM is enabled when the system does nothing.
