    Asus m3n79-t deluxe problem

i have asus m3n79-t deluxe with 4 x 2GB ram. I am running on vista 64bit but crashed after booting while checking with ram i observe as long as i just runs with only 2 bars. it works so mainly this means that the Asus m3n79-t deluxe is not stable.CPUZ tells me that the bus frequency is 200.7 MHz.The CPU runs at Last with x15.5 at 3110 MHz and the RAM with CPU / 8 at 388 MHz. The RAM is running with 1.8V. A test with 1.82V brought no change. can any one have idea about the problem ?
    thank you

While crashing do you have any standard bios beep code if yes then check for beep code troubleshooting. M3A79 - T deluxe uses AMI bios. where for Phoenix bios 1, 2 , 3 beep and it means the board is bad. also check for memory ram frequency is unique if they work in any pair with same slot then there may be probl,em in motherboard

Check that you have right RAM which is compatible with your motherboard just go to asus motherboard web site there just search for the compatibility of ram also check there Qualified Vendor list and get ram from Qualified Vendor which provide original peripherals.

try Memtest86 to test the ram

A Memtest86 diagnostic CD-ROM is available from BradyTech Inc. The Memtest86 CD-ROM includes:
    • The latest version (3.5) of Memtest86 pre-installed and ready to use.
    • An experimental SMP version of Memtest86 that uses mutilple CPUs.
    • The previous (3.4) version of Memtest86.
    • A boot menu that allows users to select the above test programs.
    • An extensive user guide with simple step-by-step instructions for using Memtest86 to diagnose and troubleshoot PC memory problems.
    • Detailed instructions for using Memtest86 to safely over-clock your PC.
    • Memtest86 source files.

Memtest86 is a thorough, stand alone memory test for x86 architecture computers. BIOS based memory tests are a quick, cursory check and often miss many of the failures that are detected by Memtest86.

Memtest86 was developed by Chris Brady with a first release in 1994. However, the testing algorithms used have been under development since 1981 and have been previously implemented on Dec PDP-11, VAX-11/780 and Cray XMP architectures. Development and distribution of Memtest86 is now funded and supported by BradyTech Inc.
