    will installing a new cpu in a bad system board blow the cpu

    I was using a computer which was spoiled due to some reason i called my Engineer & told him to solve my computer problem. He asked me to take the new system without the Board as the board was repaired. But i was in confusion weather doing the same will be the right decision for it... So my question was Will installing a new cpu in a bad system board blow the cpu????

    Firstly what configuration you was using & now what you buying ???? Yes... There is a chance of getting spoiled but it is a rare chance of getting spoiled... But still i will recommend you to buy the new board for it if you can afford it...

    My configuration Means you might be asking of what processor i was using.... I was using Pentium 4 & now also i am buying the same.... According to you asked to buy new if i can afford.... I don't have a problem with the buying new one but my thinking is if it works fine why to buy the new one....! Still require some answers on it please help....!

    I will also recommend to buy the new one not because if you can afford but My opinion is why to take the risk.... & also there will be guarantee of the new one for atleast 1 year..... Now if you buying the new one i will ask you to upgrade you computer specification.... Because in future it might be that no parts of Pentium 4 will not be available...! As so much new generation computer are now available.... So now you might have changed the presence of your mind....! Hope you got your solution....!
