help me buy a new cpu...its urgent...

Processor:Intel quad Q6600

MOBO:
need one with 3-4 slots for ddr2\ddr3 ram,1 or 2 slots for graphics card, stata 2 enabled...within a price range of 5000k

HArd DISk: seagate sata2 320 gb...

Ram: 2 GB DDR2 transcend or kingston?? which is better..??

ASUS motherboard have good support for Q6600 it is best combination for overclock also check this also Sli motherboard for Q6600 between transcend or kingston i will prefer kingston..personal experience good performance and warranty too

Even I agrees that ASUS motherboard are the best as per your need. You can either go for Asus P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard or Asus P6T7 WS SuperComputer, in my opinion. Both of them are the best. The later one is best with latest CUDA technology but can be slightly costly. However if you don't have enough budget then you can with the former.

There is no problem with Intel Motherboards but people prefer Asus or Gigabyte over Intel.
If in your location you can not get Asus or Gigabyte then you can go for Intel.

Q6600 are still not extinct... you can buy them before it does. Well cache plays an important role in a processor for fast and speedy performance, so no comments!
