I currently ASUS Striker II Extreme (nForce 790i Ultra). I also have 2 GTX260 SLI, of course because this chipset is made for. But reading the description of the card , I saw that it is incompatible with the ATI Xfire. But it has many ports PCI-E 16x..so i just found well as GTX260 is TRI SLI and TRI SLI is compatible with CrossFireX

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 is single GPU graphics card and it is based on the enhanced 55nm GT200B core. The problem with SLI or CrossFire is that the driver required application profile for the game so no gains from having more than 1 GPU. but comparing to single gtx and gt sli ,gt sli is better performer

    Re: Sli/x-fire motherboard

i would not recommend the GTX280 due to bad price point. If you compare its price with 4870X2 i will prefer 4870X2 other wise my PC with single card could reflect performance run at the highest resolution possible ..pure sli on crossfire will going to trouble you ..else more help CrossFire vs. SLI
