Q6600 B3 or G0

Well, I had the opportunity to have a Q6600 B3 and g0 what i know is b3 has 105w and B0 has 100w but temperature point of view what are the differences ,does heat is much less in b3? also is the g0 needs a boost in voltage to deliver its full potential? please reply me which one is better ?
thank you.

Re: Q6600 B3 or G0

some says that G0 has TDP of 95W, while the B3 has 105W. so G0 were could clock a little better. The only difference is that it delivers less heat and when you do not clock as it was not really much to say ..B3's are actually doing pretty good

I had the opportunity to have a Q6600 B3 and vCore going home to 3Ghz without a problem Now with g0 problem it reboot when it is applied by temperature point of view it heats much less. The G0 have 85° Temperature and 100W TDP.The B3 have a 62° Temperature and 105W TDP

what I could see, the P5W is not especially good household level overclocking with a Quad. Not fit in very high fsb with this cpu. And it would have problems with the G0 step? Will know because we tested as E6850 and not go very far either with the BIOS 2206 beta.

Re: Q6600 B3 or G0

Apparently that is the problem because the B3 was perfect until I change bios to put g0.I mounted the fsb to 333Mhz with the voltage of origin. Q6600 B3 with the 1901 bios and no stability problems even though that much heat. It's really discouraging.

VCore level, I increased without any success. But again, even the simple B3 passes without problem 3 Ghz vCore of origin. So well and given your opinion on the subject, the bios problem. It's still hard to believe but good.
