Dell 600e bios upgrade

i have got Dell 600e from my friend which is around 2 year back so i am looking for bios upgrade for it another problem is i had given password for it which that i dont have so please kindly help me for Flashing BIOS on Dell XPS 600 and upgrade it

even i was also in the search of bios so i checked the Dell website it would appear that my bios version new one no update that i have Phoenix A11 bios.

so for XPS 600 Bios upgrade i went to the Phoenix website and after scanning my system they provide update but that was not free, also there is some issues present with Dell XPS 600 BIOS A02 CPU Support.

I have read about similarity between the BIOS on a Dell and Foxconn Nforce 4 BIOS the dell board is a Foxconn Nforce 4 SLI board and they have same chipsets and just size is different so you can try that but ia m not sure where that works or not

i dont think that gonna work both are different.For flashing Dell xps 600 bios all you need is a floppy startup disk with a copy of the new bios of your machine and then bootup with the disk loaded.for flashing bios see this Flashing the BIOS of laptop if you want to reset bios password just remove battery for while then put again and try for more help see this Reset BIOS Password? and How to bypass BIOS Password
