inspiron 6000 motherboard problem system hangs

Hi,

I am facing this new problem with my dell inspiron 6000 motherboard i suspect.
The problem is that whenever i am working on this lappy it gets hang or freez & stops working & I need to restart it.

According to me this is a motherboard problem Please let me know if you have any suggestion for me.

OK so you need to check it by the vendor.
Ask dell to look into this problem.

IF the motherboard is really faulty then you will end up replacing it very soon.
I think the heat may be the reason for the freezing.
Please check your CPU temperature.

Hey mate if its really old then it's time to retire that old machine.
Now its time to get a new updated machine.

I hypothesize that your wireless networking card is overheating due to heat from the hard drive, because that is what happened with my Inspiron 6000, causing it to freeze up. Try disabling or removing the wireless card. Also, you can use i8kfangui to monitor your temperatures.
