Which Gigabyte X58 Motherboard

Hi,

I am looking for a new motherboard, I have an Intel Quad q6600, I am planing to buy X58 motherboard and I chose Gigabyte, because it fulfill all my requirements like DDR3 2000 Mhz support,3X Pci-e etc.

i have chosen this two model o gigabyte

1. Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
2. Gigabyte EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1

P.S please recommend any other brand of motherboard also. budget is not an issue.

your choice for those two motherboard does not matter as they are all based on the same chipset. go for Gigabyte X58 UD3R its the cheapest boards. you can overclock it to 4550MHz. you can also see the other brands you may find better and cheaper motherboard which can fulfill your requirements.

but it has 4 memory slots instead. 6, and 2 pci-express slots instead of 3. money is not a problem for me. i can go with other brands. It should be efficient to run server 24 / 7 with my Q6600 without any problem.
