    hi,
Sometimes a beep from motherboard can be wrong. i use intel motherboard and i also get temperature of My NB to 75 degrees. Do you have a fan that you can Fit on the north, and check the temperatures ? If it is in any case you know exactly where the problem lies.

    Hi,
You said that on your intel motherboard you get 75C. but i get 89C in Idle. and when my system is on full load it reaches above 98C. and then system crashes, are you getting the same result when your system is at full load ?

Above 98 degrees for your chipset is high. as yo said that your system crashes at that level. i think you should start the pc without, Video card, raid card, hard disk. and are you sure the sound from the motherboard rather than a hard drive or fan, etc.?
