How much RAM for Windows 7 RC on Rampage Extreme X48

I download Windows 7 RC and I went on 64 bit because I was on 32-bit. And so I thought to buy RAM, currently I have 2 x 1GB DDR3-2000

My question, is it better to leave my 2x 1 GB and buy more 2 x 2 GB or only 2 x 2 GB but only allow 4 GB

Also, if overclocking, is it better to have 4 slots occupied or only 2. Is it better to take DDR3 1600 or 1800, leaving 2000

    My config:

    Rampage Extreme X48 - QX9650 4GHz - 2GB DDR3 2000MHz OCZ Platinum Edition - Gainward 4870 - Velociraptor 300GB - WD S16 500GB - Corsair HX 620 Watts

For what uses? If the 6GB warns you for 2 GB and 4 GB then add some more. Otherwise I do not see anything interesting. Especially with that already there is 2 GB enough things especially since Windows 7 is more optimized than Vista.

I use mostly for games and decompression. Otherwise I use internet, word processing, I made some videos.

I will be buying RAM because I want to take advantage of 4GB. And if I take memories then I will be taking: OCZ DDR3 PC3-16000 Platinum Edition - 4 GB Kit

Otherwise for Windows 7 RC, do you find it is a good idea to install it immediately, or rather wait for its final release?

Just buy a strip of 2 GB, so you will have 4GB in total, which is nice and widely enough (even for Crysis)

For Windows 7, try all you want to change everything!

Just keep in mind that it is better to have two strips of a single dual channel. So if you do decide to add that 2 GB, it would be better to have 2 x 1 GB (or 2 x 2GB, as per your need) to take maximum advantage of dual channel.
