upgrade ram of Acer Timeline 5810T

Hey I want to upgrade my newly brought Acer Timeline 5810T. I am not happy with it's current performance. What is the max limit to upgrade it's RAM? Will it hamper my warranty?

Your laptops ram is expandable to 4GB.

3gb seems like plenty of memory to me

Read the documentation that came with the laptop if your wondering about the warranty or talk to the people you bought the laptop from. I would think expanding your memory wouldn't void your warranty.

it states in this review that the laptop has "Low performance scores" as Con, it seems to me your laptop was built to be portable, not fast.... Your working with a 1.3 ghz processor.... if Your using Windows Vista you could denfinately use more memory... if it where me, I'd down grade to Windows XP, or at least do some system clean up. Other than that there's not much else I could think of... Here's a great site I use on a daily basis, great way to improve performance in windows xp...

If your really not happy with its performance you could easily get a laptop with a more robust processor for around the same price range...

It really depends on what you want to use the laptop for...

Upgrading laptop is not much good option and with Acer i will not suggest you also if you upgrade by your self warranty will avoid so you have to ask to acer service center for that

For your Acer Timeline 5810T following may be the specification that is Processor Support- Intel Centrino mobile processor technology, featuring with Intel Core2 Solo processor with 3 MB L2 cache and chipset and with the Mobile Intel GS45 Express Chipset and RAM would be upgraded upto 4GB, If you try upgrading yourself under warranty period your warranty will hamper.
