Asus P5Q Pro and 8Gb memory

Does anyone have experience with the piece that is 100% stable in such a configuration?

I bought 2 x CORSAIR TWIN2X4096-6400C5 DDR2 800 4096MB (Kit of 2). These pieces were stable for about 1 month, before the machine ended a blue screen. I am running Windows 2008 64-bit, and to use the computer to much virtualization with Hyper-V. Need 8 GB.

I have now checked the QVL list to Asus, and unfortunately found that my pieces are only supported by 2 pieces of motherboard, and not 4. But ...

So I check the QVL list to the same card, only in the Premium edition, and there are the same pieces supported by 4 pieces (4x2Gb). Is there such a huge difference between P5Q Pro and P5Q Premium that they can not use together config? I really thought that as long as it was the Intel P45 chipset would all the pieces intended for this chip set that fit all motherboards.

But so it is perhaps not?

Running even a server with windows 2008 64-bit and P5Q and 4x Corsair XMS2 CM2X2048-6400C5. Stable as the mountains with the Q6600 processor. So why not go for a lower than the pro and deluxe? I am having same chipset, running 3 drives in Raid-0 and 2 disks in raid-0

I purchased P5Q Pro through the job, and it was the motherboard they had in stock there and then.

The plan is also that I shall use the RAID functionality on PQ5 Pro, but perhaps it also P5Q? I can not quite understand exactly why the Pro version does not officially support 4 each of these pieces, but your version makes it?

    Simple trick:

    Update to the latest bios
Give memory chips a little extra voltage
    Set the timings even
    Set 1:1 divider
NB Give a little extra voltage if it is possible, do not know the card ..

I run everything on auto in the BIOS
