    How to check a PCIe Slot?

    Hey Guys!
    How do i check my PCIe slot? I guess i have a bad PCIe slot but i'm not sure though...! Is there anyway to check it?

    Hey!
    The best way to check your PCIe slot is to plug a PCIe card in the slot and check if it gives you a display on the monitor...! But make sure the card works..!

    Hey!
    I guess you got me wrong... Well i'll post the complete scenario...! I have a PCIe graphics card... Whenever i play a game it will run for a short time then i'll get the don't send error...! If i play a high graphics game, it will run only for few minutes while normal graphics game runs for a bit longer period...! Is my PCIe slot bad? Cause i tried the same card with my friends computer with same drivers but there he has no problems..! Only on my computer it gives me error...! Please help guys! Thanks...

    Hey!
    Well there may be three things :
    • Your PCIe slot may be bad
    • Your PSU isn't sufficient
    • You motherboard doesn't support the card you have

    First check your PSU, if it is fine, try to check your motherboard is in the compatibility list of your card and thirdly if the above two is well, you can conclude that your PCIe slot is bad...! All the best...!
