Asus P5Q Deluxe & E8400

Hello!

I need your opinion to stabilize my overclock because now I get an error in OCCT after only 5 minutes! My final goal would be to reach 580MHz FSB with a 7x multiplier is a 4GHz CPU and ram to sync its original speed (pc9200)
Is this possible with P5Q Deluxe?

If you need further information do not hesitate!

Thank you

Hey,
2320 Mhz FSB! Reasonable for 24 / 7, I would say not. the motherboard that hold the 500 MHz, the 580 ... ouch. It is not because a review that we can necessarily do so. Each piece is different. Each CPU has its own level of overclock Northbridge and each has its threshold of tolerance. The overclocking is very very far from an exact science.

Re: Asus P5Q Deluxe & E8400

you ask a lot with 580 FSB of your motherboard . set the North Bridge up to 1.40 or 1.35 volts and the South Bridge to 1.25 volt put your FSB to 445 Mhz and put the CPU on coef 9 and then you vCore the dose according to OCCT or if it boot or not, but more than 1.40 of maximum vCore great for H24 blocks the PCIe to 100 or 101.

Well, near a small overclocking evening I managed to boot and stay under my windows with 580MHz FSB, is now all that stabilize and to test the stability. But I'm on the right track.
