RAID controller and AMD 790FX Chipset

the 790FX chipset indeed quite a lot of PCI Express Lanes brings me as I wanted to see a MSI 790FX-GD70 and growth along with a RAID controller operate in a PCIe x16 slots. Has anyone already running?AMD in the x16 PCIe slots has any "optimization" with RAID controllers will cause problems.
