Want to know Ideal CPU temperature

hie friends,

I have Pentium 4 at my place. Few days back, I was having problem with my CPU fan being overheated ...... Recently, I have replaced a new CPU fan.....
I wanna know what should be the ideal CPU temperature ?

I am not aware about the exact figures for ideal CPU temperature......

However, my Pentium 4 - 2.8 had once reached till 68 C while I was running an application called 3D Mark whereas in an ideal mode it shows around 50 C

The temperature of the processor differs depending upon the program you are running.

It reaches maximum when you are running multiple programs or some high-level programs and is minimum when it is in an ideal mode....

Also, it depends upon the processor which you are using.

Well in P4, it should be 45 C as an average processing temperature.

It is always beneficial to keep the temperature of your processor as minimal as possible in order to prevent it from overheating.

I have AMD and it goes around 45-48 C under loads with standard cooling and remains 30-33 C in ideal mode.
