Asus P5KPL-AM motherboard problem

I recently purchased a motherboard "Asus P5KPL-AM". I've added the processor Intel Celeron Dual Core E1400 with a Cooler Master 430W power supply. I put on with a strip of 2GB RAM. I then connect a 80GB hard drive, a DVD and a video card "MSI 8600GT". I plug all but impossible to have an image. I then try to connect the screen directly on the port on the motherboard but this does not change. How to fix this?

Few other questions like:

1) have you plugged the connector 4 pins in addition to the 24 pins of power supply?

2) no doubt about the mounting of the processor? thermal paste applied in thin layers, good contact

3) well put braces between the motherboard and case?

4) fans of the box and the CPU fan is turning ignition? and the hard drive?

@ Alexisus: Yes I have already mounted before PCs

@ Marthaz: plugged 4 Pins connector
Processor installed correctly and thermal paste applied in the center of it
The braces are well and live well down in
The fans turn the ignition and the hard drive

It then turns on or turns off lights and anything that is coming? Try to start with the minimum: Processor, ram strips, hdd without player
