Absence of 4-pole plug on my 12v power supply?

I ordered a 420W power supply XILENCE but I do not have 4-pin 12v for my motherboard. The seller tell me that I had to separate a 8-pole connector for a 4 ...

Is this correct? And how, just cut in half the connector?

    Thank you for any advice

Do not cut with a knife. You must have the connector on the main-long-a detachable 4.

Not the first 24 and 24 must not be empty. It was Good on me ,, there was 1 connector 4 CPU even scored. Are you really not have? Do you have one of eight which speaks your seller? If so check that it does not detach.

I seem to remember that this kind of food as mentioned above shots are nested and that the pin 8 should be able to split into two.

Otherwise you have to buy a Molex connector.
