    Question FSB processor and RAM

    hello,

    A small question, because I want to mount a PC.
    I have not mentioned any particular material is for the moment it's just that I want information on the frequency history Not planting.

    * if I take a processor with a FSB of 1066MHz:
    Should I take the PC2-6400 or the PC2-8500 which is clocked in 1066 as a processor?

    * Same if I take a processor with FSB of 1333:
    I must take PC2-8500 or PC3-10000?

    I ask this because I always learned the need to work on his pc same frequency but I realize that many people care of the PC2-6400 with processors with an FSB of 1066MHz.

    thank you for your advice

    You can take the ram that you want there will never worry.

    1066 MHz FSB for a processor is quad pumped.

    This will be the default FSB of your processor.

    After you can take the DDRII PC5300 DDRII or the higher frequency, it will work

    Exactly

    FSB 1066 -> minimum PC4200

    FSB 1333 -> minimum PC5300

    Re: Question FSB processor and RAM

    I not understand?

    for example I have an Athlon 64 X2 5200 + with a FSB of 800Mhz
    I put the PC-6400 has therefore 800MHZ to make it such. (800 / 4 = 200 That's right?)

    the processor that I intended for my friend and Core2Duo E8400 with 1333 FSB or E6850 with 1333 FSB.
    how do I calculate then?

    Re: Question FSB processor and RAM

    Your 5200 + with a 200MHz FSB like Intel have a fsb of 200 (800), 266 (1066) or 333 (1333)

    The ram on the 5200 + runs at 400MHz (PC6400 = 800DDR), the ram on a E8400/6850 will run at least 333MHz (PC5300 = 666DDR)

    So my ram I put a 400 or 800 in bios?
    It is the 800 is cpuz said:
    DRAM frequency = 371 MHz

    must be my RAM or a 400 or 200 as the bus system?

    Re: Question FSB processor and RAM

    I think I understand.

    in the ram DDR800 was validated for 400Mhz.
    So me with my bus 200 of the pc-3200 (DDR400) would have a turn as the bus.

    I understand the fact of taking a ram is most important is to make the car when you overclock the FSB on increases thus increasing the speed of RAM therefore my case my ddr800 more easily accept the increased FSB.
    That's right?
