ASUS P5Q PRO problem with Corsair Dominator 1066

    hi,
my RAM: Corsair DIMM 4 GB DDR2-1066 Dominator EPP Kit (TWIN2X4096-8500C5D) does not run stable at 1066MHz on my P5Q Pro only with 800MHz!
I am here for this decision, because he is in the Asus QVL (Mainboard / Ram compatibility list) is listed and thus the RAM incompatibility should be excluded. Is there anyone has the same components to which it is running properly? If yes, please look at the BIOS settings to post! Thank you.

    hi,
Look at the Asus site, there is a 1501-BIOS with supposedly better memory compatibility.

Currently you have an older Biosversion (1004),But there were also no problems with the versions 1306, 1406 and 1501. Try holding the 1501 Bios , but why you need 1066MHz Rams for 266MHz FSB.If you are sure to want to operate at 1066MHz, I can have suggest to try the "Ai Transaction Booster" from "Auto" to "Manual" shift and a higher "Performance Level".
