    Unknown CPU card is inactive

I just rebuild my pc with a new config:

    Motherboard: Asus P5KPL-CM
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0 GHz
    RAM: 2 x 2 GB DDR PC8500
Graphic card: MSI Radeon HD4830 OC

    I have two small concerns.

1 - At startup, the screen hangs after the POST saying that the CPU is unknown and too hot. As we enter the bios, it indicated at 100 °C all round, and they never move! I however got access by pressing F1 after the POST.

2 - I can not use my graphic card. The fan is running, but when I try to connect the screen above, the LED on the screen turns green and then immediately returns to the orange (and therefore nothing appears). The integrated chipset still very connected with the graphic card.

    1 - Update your bios.

2 - Check if connection to your graphics card is proper and also with the screen and then install the drivers?

Or connect your graphics card, plug the screen on your integrated chipset, install the drivers for your graphics card, switch off, plug your graphics card to the screen and the computer starts.

Normally integrated chip turns off automatically.

In fact I tried with the cd of the graphics card, but it offers nowhere to install the driver. I thought the card was not detected. I will try to download the latest drivers

To update the bios with ease - flash, I saw we could do it via usb, it is necessary that the key is empty (with only a bios file) or is not it annoying there are other files?

Re: Unknown CPU card is inactive

I flashed my bios and the problem is resolved for CPU

    As against the graphics card.
I tried to save the drivers, but because the graphics card does not appear in the device manager. I tried to go through the installer but it made no difference. I browse through the bios but to no avail.

I noticed a port at the rear of the graphics card, which apparently serves to connect a wire feed, but my power supply connector that has no corresponding. It could come from here?

Is the card has a power supply connector, must buy an adapter?
